Summit studios have reportedly approached Bill Condon, Sofia Coppola and Gus Van Sant to helm the final 'Twilight' flick.

However, only Van Sant's reps have confirmed the reports, ew.com reports.

Robert Pattinson, who plays blood-sucking paramour Edward Cullen in the franchise, believes Van Sant is the man for the job.

"He's good at making it look beautiful," the New York Daily News quoted Pattinson, as telling MTV.com.

He added: "It's all about teenage love and obsessions. I think Gus would be great." (ANI)
